POLITICAL OR SPIRITUAL?… many issues face our society, state, nation, and world today. A lot of people view these as political “red versus blue” issues, and believe that it is separate from spiritual issues.
Heated arguments and debates take place across our state and nation today over these issues with riots, name-calling, anger, bitterness, resentment toward others to the point where friendships are scarred and separated…families and even churches are not immune to the hate and division.
Many go so far as to say that you should leave the Bible and faith out of government, politics, and the debate of these issues. How would you respond to that claim?
Is that what God wants us to do? Is that even what God intended for us to do? How do we know? What does the Bible say about faith, government and the political issues we face?
Come worship with us the next 2 weeks, and let’s open our hearts and minds to the truth of God‘s word and the direction that he gives followers of Christ to exist in the world we live in facing the issues that affect people today.
